Integration Problems Turns out the integration I installed wasn't as stable as I would have liked it to have been. It was causing members with spaces in their names to have broken links to their blogs, and often times it was not loading the style when the forum was being loaded, causing the forum nearly inaccessible to some members. I've been counting down the days to the 21st of September, when I'll finally submit my IS. Though I shouldn't be so happy about it since I've really done nothing about it when I should have. I really don't know what to do, and there're so many other things I'd rather do. This is not fair. I was about to resume my activities in S*T and all the sudden there's a retreat to go! ...Not that I don't like retreats, but at the end of the vacation I was just hoping to stay home more. I'd thought of what to write just now, but as the white text space stares back at me, I forget entirely what it was I'd been so eager to express in the written form before. Call me creepy but I find reading you people's blogs more interesting than other stuff going on around the site currently. Though it's not made easy. Cabal Online MMO

It was causing members with spaces in their names to have broken links to their blogs, and often times it was not loading the style when the forum was being loaded, causing the forum nearly inaccessible to some members. So, although it would have been our best option (especially for when we want to have the ability to switch styles later on), I’ve decided to ditch the thing and try an alternative route. I am trying right now to figure out some plugins that will allow for the WordPress->phpBB integration via one-login and crossposting. However, getting those to work seems to be a chore as well. Hooray!

August 18, 2010 – 12:13 am

Looks like I finally got this thing working! Surreal*Twilight is now entering version 6.0–complete with WordPress integration. Yay! Please let me know if you are having issues staying logged in. I would suggest clearing your cookies and trying again if you are having issues.

Other than that, please excuse the appearance as I continue to work on setting things up. Hopefully, it will not be a terribly long time, but it may be a couple of weeks before everything looks good, and about a month+ before the forum catches up to where it should be.

I’d leave stuff open for discussion on what should be changed, but I’m not done yet and that just stresses me out. If you have a legitimate bug, please PM me or e-mail me at admin@surrealtwilight.com.
