You may be wondering what Surreal*Twilight is to begin with, and the answer is quite simple. Surreal*Twilight is a role playing forum that has been serving the internet since 2002. We pride ourselves in encouraging quality writing on the internet and in people's lives. With our special staff team, we are able to ensure and support members to inspire proper writing habits, story and character development, and other important rhetoric.
Your creativity shouldn't be restricted to rules; Surreal*Twilight allows you freedom. We offer a free-reign policy on genre, style, language, or content. Your creativity and ideas are protected by the staff, and you can expect an unbiased review of your work. In addition to this, S*T enforces a special feature that differs from many other role playing forums. We expect a minimum quality of writing in order to post in the “Graduate" forums. To learn how to become a Graduate, please continue reading!

There's nothing more uncomfortable about joining a community than being uninformed! Take a stop by the rules page to freshen up on how we run things. We mentioned we are different from other forums--so expect differences in our rules as well! Our rules are enforced, and if you break them--even by accident--you may receive a warning.
Jump in and introduce yourself.
Create a welcome thread to let people know who you are. Meet some people who share your role play interests, get to know our staff, or just chat it up for the heck of it. The whole community is here to welcome you, and we all want to get to know you!
Know who's there for you.
Our Kindly Scholar member group is here to help you. If you have any questions about how membership works, if you want to role play with somebody, or if you would like some suggestions on your writing: contact a member of the Kindly Scholar group. They'll be happy to help you with anything you have to ask them!
When you first join Surreal*Twilight, you can only post in the Student Forums. In order to become a Graduate and enjoy the features of the rest of the forum, you'll need to go through a judging process. The graduation system, unique to S*T, enforces our minimum quality standard of writing. To learn more about how to graduate, the grading process, and the S*T Standard, please follow the links on the side or read the rest of the pages under the "Role Playing" category.
